"This event will allow us to take advantage of some of the outstanding stadia built or renovated for use in the 2007 ICC Cricket World Cup in order tio showcase cricket at the elite level."

Dr. Hunte went on:"We have already begun to put in place, the necessary logistics to administer a tournament of this scale and we are also fortunate to have an army of experienced volunteers from last year's tournament ready to help make things run smoothly."

"We look forward to hosting a great event for the people of the Caribbean and providing our traditional level of warm hospitality to what we hope will be a large number of visitors."
