Big-hitting Hyatt makes 89 off 50 balls as Jamaica post 153-9

Danza Hyatt made a brilliant 89 from 50 balls to launch a tremendous attack for Jamaica in the second half of their innings against Barbados in Semi-final 2 of the West Indies Cricket Board's Caribbean T20 on Friday night at Queen’s Park Oval. The powerfully-built right-hander blasted the ball to all parts of the ground and counted four boundaries and eight massive sixes as he reached the highest score of CT20.

The knock allowed Jamaica to posted 153-9 – with 111 runs coming the last 10 overs – after they struggled to 42-2 off the first 10 overs. Left-arm spinner Sulieman Benn sent down a good last over which resulted in a hat-trick of wickets. Andre Russell lost his middle stump to the fourth ball, Tamar Lambert's off-stump was rattled by the next; and Krishmar Santokie was run out off the last ball as he attempted two.
