Carter holds the key as Barbados reach 68-2 after 10 overs

Barbados got off to a flying start thanks to Dale Richards but were pegged back by Guyana’s bowlers in the first half of their innings in the final of the West Indies Cricket Board’s Caribbean T20 at Queen’s Park Oval on Saturday night. Richards made 16 from nine balls as the Bajans raced off at 10 runs per overs, but at the end of the 10th over they were on 68-2. The other batsman to go was Kirk Edwards, who also made 16. Left-hander Jonathan Carter was going well on 27 from 30 balls but the Bajans will need a rousing finish to get up to a match-winning total.
