Windwards edge Guyana, Jamaica pummel Somerset

Bridgetown, Barbados – Thrilling last ball finishes seem the order of the day in Caribbean Twenty20. Another knife edged finish was had as Windward Islands sneaked past Guyana by two runs as the tournament continues in Barbados.

With 16 runs needed in the last over as Guyana chased Windwards’138 for 8 from 20 overs, the Guyanese – renowned experts at last over victories – brought the equation to 4 runs from the last ball.
 
Derwin Christian hit the full delivery from left armer Kenroy Peters into the on side but was run out going for the second run to hand Windwards the narrow win.
