LUNCH: Nash moves to 146 not out for JA

St Augustine, Trinidad – Brendan Nash made a superb century as Jamaica control to take control over Trinidad & Tobago at lunch on the second day of their WICB First-class semi-final on Saturday.

The left-handed Nash started the day on 96 and went on to score his eighth first class century as he continued to put the T&T bowlers to the sword. He went to the break on 146 not out and with his Wavell Hinds on 10. Jamaica reached 334-4 and will look to build a massive first innings score at the Sir Frank Worrell Ground at the UWI campus.

Jamaica started the day on 251-3 and the wicket to fall was skipper Tamar Lambert, who was leg-before to seamer Rayad Emrit for 41. Emrit has so far taken 18-2-53-2.
