Lunch 3rd day: Windies wickets fall to Ajmal
Georgetown, Guyana, CMC – West Indies, leading Pakistan by 66 runs, were 96-7 in their second innings at lunch on the third day of the first Digicel Test at the Guyana National Stadium on Saturday.
The West Indies have an overall lead of 162 with three wickets in hand.
Pakistani off-spinner Saeed Ajmal was again the wrecker picking up 4-23 to follow-up his five-wicket haul in the first innings, as the Windies lost five wickets in the morning session.
Lendl Simmons has so far topscored with 21, while veteran left-hander Shiv Chanderpaul was on 12 not out and expected to carry the fight into the second session.
