WICB to launch Lifestyle programme

St John’s, Antigua – The West Indies Cricket Board is preparing to launch a Player Lifestyle Development (PLD) programme which will be geared towards developing well rounded cricketers at all levels.

Stafanie moves up to Number 1

West Indies star player Stafanie Taylor has made her way to the top position in the batting ranking for Women in One-Day Internationals. The 20-year-old Jamaican gained five ratings points after being named the Player of the Series in the recent three-match series win by West Indies over India in St Kitts.

Girls ready to face Japan

Dhaka, Bangladesh -- The West Indies women made it two wins out of two when they trounced Pakistan by eight wickets on Thursday in the International Cricket Council’s Women’s Cricket World Cup 2013 qualifiers.

Following their massive 213-run win over Ireland on Monday, the Windies brushed aside Pakistan, bowling them out for 141 in the final over and then motoring to 142-2, to win with more than 15overs to spare.
