Kingston, Jamaica - Surprise package Windward Islands ruthlessly disposed of defending double champions Trinidad and Tobago and dumped them out of the WICB Regional 50 Over Tournament.

Windwards blew T&T for a paltry 133 then romped to 139 for 2 to register a thumping eight wicket win at Sabina Park on Heroes Day in Jamaica.

Chasing 134 to win Windward Islands were led by seasoned opener Devon Smith who made a composed unbeaten 51 from 88 balls with four boundaries.
