Aguillera salutes women of the Caribbean

Port-of-Spain, Trinidad – Captain of the West Indies Women’s team, Merissa Aguillera, is hoping that the recent success of her team will inspire women across the region to believe in themselves and always strive for excellence.

She also saluted the many hardworking women around the Caribbean who give excellent service to the sport of cricket and also contribute to the betterment of life in the region.

WICB President hails Windies Women

ST. JOHN’S, Antigua – The West Indies Cricket Board has heaped praise on the West Indies Women’s team for their double-series success over India Women.
Windies Women completed a three-wicket victory in the third and final One-Day International on Sunday at Warner Park in St. Kitts to wrap up a 2-1 series victory over the Indians. Merissa Aguilleira’s side also won the preceding Twenty20 International series over the visitors 3-2.

Dottin does it for WI Women

 

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – West Indies Women pulled off a superb victory over India Women in the final over to win the third One-day International and take the three-match series 2-1.
