Dottin aims to add consistency to batting

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados – Deandra Dottin said she was proud of her reputation of being an explosive batter in the women’s international game, but planned to work harder on her consistency with the bat.

President hails Women’s improvement

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados – President of the West Indies Cricket Board Dr. Julian Hunte said consistency had now become synonymous with the West Indies Women’s team.

The WICB president said that often sports personalities used the phrase “from strength to strength” and felt the Windies Women had come to epitomise this statement.

Windies return home to big welcome

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados – West Indies Women returned to the Caribbean on Sunday evening following a long but successful tour of Asia.

The side, led by captain Merissa Aguilleira, were greeted on arrival by West Indies Cricket Board president Julian Hunte and other cricket officials, along with fans and family.

Dottin, Daley inspire 7 run win

COLOMBO, Sri Lanka – West Indies women clinched a tight seven run win over Sri Lanka women in the final T20 match to secure the series 4-1 at the R Premadasa Stadium here Friday. 

Deandra Dottin slammed a top score of 43 to set up West Indies total of 122 for five and received support in building the innings from Juliana Nero.
