Port of Spain, Trinidad – The Board of Directors of the West Indies Cricket Board met at the Hyatt Regency in Port of Spain, Trinidad today and following is a summary of the major decisions taken:

Bamboo All Stars edge Talk Nah

PORT OF SPAIN, TRINIDAD - Bamboo All Stars edged Talk Nah by eight runs, on April 5, at the Bamboo Settlement Number One Recreation Ground in Valsayn, in a Women’s Division contest of the 2013 Bamboo Cricket League.

Kirby, King lead TT women to victory

SINOVILLE, SOUTH AFRICA - All-rounders Leeann Kirby and Stacy Ann King scored half centuries to lead TT to a 92-run win over Highveld Province in their final T20 match of their South African tour on Wednesday.

West Indies Women for tri-series

ST JOHN’S: A women’s triangular T20 series involving West Indies, England and New Zealand will be played in Barbados in October, the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) announced yesterday.

“This Tri Series is an important component of our continued development programme for Women’s Cricket,” WICB Cricket Operations Manager Roland Holder said.

T&T end SA tour with T20 wins

SINOVILLE, SOUTH AFRICA - Just as they started their tour of South Africa, Trinidad and Tobago’s cricket women ended it with a pair of T20 wins, condemning hosts Highveld Province to heavy defeats at Sinoville yesterday.
