Trinidad & Tobago advance to TCL Group West Indies Under 19 final

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados (CMC) – Trinidad & Tobago reached the Final of the TCL Group West Indies Under-19 limited-overs competition, when they crushed Guyana by nine wickets on Friday.

Chasing a revised target of 87 from their allocation of 24 overs under the Duckworth Lewis Method, Trinidad & Tobago crossed the threshold with 22 balls to spare in their rain-affected third round match at Queen’s Park.

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados (CMC) – Guyana, choosing to bat, were dismissed for 88 in 22.3 overs in their rain-affected third round match in the TCL Group West Indies Under-19 limited-overs championship against Trinidad & Tobago on Friday at Queen’s Park.

Windward Islands v. Guyana end in no result

WILDEY, Barbados (CMC) – Rain and unfit conditions forced a no-result between Windward Islands and Jamaica in their third round match of the TCL Group West Indies Under-19 limited-overs competition on Friday at the Cable & Wireless Sports Club.

Rain disrupts TCL Group West Indies Under 19 matches

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados (CMC) – Rain has disrupted both matches in the third round of the TCL Group West Indies Under-19 Challenge on Friday.

Umpires at both venues – Queen’s Park in Bridgetown and The Brewery in Wildey – have revised the over allocations to maximise playing time.

As a result, the interval between innings and the scheduled close for both matches have also been revised.

Rain forces a no result between Barbados and Jamaica

WATERFORD, Barbados (CMC) – Jamaica, despite posting a challenging total due to an attacking hundred from Horace Miller, had to settle for a share of the spoils against Barbados in their rain-ruined TCL West Indies Under-19 limited-overs match on Wednesday.

Miller smashed 12 fours and a six in an attacking knock of 101 from only 86 balls, as defending champions Jamaica raced to 196 for five in 34 overs before their innings was curtailed by rain in the second round match at the Combermere School.
