BRIDGETOWN, Barbados (CMC) – Individual awards following the conclusion of the 2008 TCL Group West Indies Under-19 Challenge.



Most Outstanding batsman: Andre Creary (Jamaica) – 414 runs

Most Outstanding bowler: Keron Cottoy (Windward Islands) – 38 wickets

Most Outstanding wicketkeeper: Maverick Perry (Jamaica) – 15 catches, 2 stumpings, 216 runs.

Most Outstanding fielder: Adrian Barath (Trinidad & Tobago) – 16 catches.

Trinidad & Tobago deny Barbados to win Limited Overs Title

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados (CMC) – Trinidad and Tobago, behind an excellent all-round performance from Kjorn Ottley won the TCL West Indies Under-19 Challenge one-day title when they defeated Barbados in the final by eight runs at the Banks Breweries Ground on Saturday.
Ottley made a fine unbeaten 68 in helping Trinidad and Tobago to a respectable total of 216 for nine after they won the toss and batted and then took three wickets for 47 runs as Barbados were bowled out for 208 in 49.2 overs.

 BRIDGETOWN, Barbados (CMC) – Trinidad & Tobago, winning the toss and batting, reached 216 for nine off their allotted 50 overs in the TCL Group West Indies Under-19 limited overs final against Barbados at the Banks Brewery Ground Saturday.

Trinidad & Tobago advance to TCL Group West Indies Under 19 final

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados (CMC) – Trinidad & Tobago reached the Final of the TCL Group West Indies Under-19 limited-overs competition, when they crushed Guyana by nine wickets on Friday.

Chasing a revised target of 87 from their allocation of 24 overs under the Duckworth Lewis Method, Trinidad & Tobago crossed the threshold with 22 balls to spare in their rain-affected third round match at Queen’s Park.

Windward Islands v. Guyana end in no result

WILDEY, Barbados (CMC) – Rain and unfit conditions forced a no-result between Windward Islands and Jamaica in their third round match of the TCL Group West Indies Under-19 limited-overs competition on Friday at the Cable & Wireless Sports Club.
