PINELANDS, Barbados (CMC) – Barbados, replying to Leeward Islands’ first innings total of 146, reached 111 for three when stumps were drawn on the opening day of their fourth round match in the TCL Group West Indies Under-19 Challenge on Saturday at the MTW Sports Club.

WATERFORD, Barbados (CMC) – Trinidad & Tobago, sent in to bat, reached 301 for eight in their first innings when stumps were drawn on the opening day of their fourth round match in the TCL Group West Indies Under-19 Challenge against Windward Islands on Saturday at the Combermere School.

Leeward Islands seal draw with Trinidad & Tobago: TCL Group West Indies Under 19

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados (CMC) – Left-handed opening batsman Chesney Hughes and all-rounder Kadeem Phillip featured in a face saving fifth-wicket partnership to salvage a draw for Leeward Islands against Trinidad and Tobago in their TCL Group West Indies Under-19 match on Wednesday.

Umpires Patrick Grazette and Wilbert Jordan called off the match at 4.50 pm with the Leeward Islands – set a victory target of 270 -- struggling on 129 for six after Trinidad and Tobago had declared at their overnight position of 109 for seven.

Lunch Update: Leeward Islands v. Trinidad & Tobago (TCL Group West Indies Under 19)

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados (CMC) – The Leeward Islands, set 270 to beat Trinidad & Tobago, reached 18 for four when rain stopped play early on the third and final day of their third-round TCL Group West Indies Under-19 match on Wednesday at the Carlton Sports Club.

Trinidad & Tobago declared at their overnight 109 for seven and rain stopped play at 10:28 local time, with the Leeward Islands less than half an hour into their second innings.

Umpires decided on an early lunch at 11:50 am.
