Stewart XI wins Under-19 match again

ST JOHN’s, Antigua – Emmanuel Stewart, captain of his Under 19 squad, squeezed out a 19-runs victory on Sunday at the Coolidge Cricket Ground, for back to back wins against his colleague, Kirstan Kallicharan, in a practice match on Sunday.

Stewart’s XI win by 6 wickets

ST JOHN’s, ANTIGUA – Emmanuel Stewart and Kirstan Kallicharan, part of the winning Under 19 World Cup team (2016) are back in the 21-member squad now on in a camp in Antigua. Stewart and Kallicharan captained a team in a 50-overs practice match held at the Coolidge Cricket Ground on Saturday (April 8).

Stewart’s XI defeated Kallicharan’s XI by 6 wickets.

U19 Camp to focus on Game Awareness

ST JOHN’s, Antigua - West Indies Under 19 Head Coach, Graeme West, is confident that the training camp being held in Antigua, (April 1 – 9) for the defending World Championship team, will lead to greater “efficiency and effectiveness” on the field.

ABS TV works with ESPN Caribbean

St John’s, Antigua – When the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) signed off with ESPN Caribbean as its exclusive television partner for the just concluded Super50 regional tournament, the final crew number was 44.

In that crew included four employees of the Antigua and Barbuda Broadcasting Services (ABS TV).

Paul half-century not enough in defeat

NORTH SOUND, Antigua, CMC – Under-19 World Cup star, Keemo Paul, stroked his maiden Regional Super50 half-century but it was not enough to save West Indies Under-19s as they collapsed to a six-wicket defeat to Kent Spitfires here Sunday.
