New Delhi, India – The West Indies are eagerly looking forward to the start of their ICC Cricket World Cup campaign on Thursday.

Vice Captain Dwayne Bravo said he and his team-mates are ready for the opening clash against South Africa at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium. First ball in the day/night match is 2.30 pm (5 am Eastern Caribbean Time/4 am Jamaica Time).

Nagpur, India – Ryan ten Doeschate’s superb allround show went in vain as Netherlands went down by six wickets to England in a Group B match in ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 at the VCA Stadium on Tuesday.

Riding on ten Doeschate's 119 (110b, 9x4, 3x6), Netherlands posted 292-6 in their 50 overs. In the chase, England overhauled the target in 48.4 overs to finish at 296-4.

Hambantota, Sri Lanka – Sri Lanka vice-captain Mahela Jayawardena scored the fourth fastest hundred in Cricket World Cup history to star in his team’s comprehensive win by 210 runs over Canada.

Sri Lanka batted first and posted a massive 332 for 7 in its 50 overs and then bowled out Canada for 122 in 36.5 overs in the first international match at the new at the Mahinda Rajapakse International Stadium on Sunday.
