Powell's 92 fails to save WI

CANBERRA, Australia – Opener Kieran Powell narrowly missed out on a century while Ramnaresh Sarwan made a timely return to form with a half-century, but West Indies made a losing start to their tour of Australia with a 23-run defeat to the Prime Minister’s XI here Tuesday.

Roach to join Windies tour in Perth

Canberra, Australia – West Indies fast bowler Kemar Roach will miss Tuesday’s warm-up match against the Prime Minister’s XI at Manuka Oval.

The 24-year-old was based in Australia since December but was given leave to attend a personal matter.

Dwayne Bravo ready for return to Windies

Canberra, Australia – Dwayne Bravo is set to make a return to the West Indies team when he turns out against the Prime Minister’s XI in Tuesday’s warm-up match at the Manuka Oval.

It will be the first international day/night match at the ground. First ball is at 2:20 pm (11:20 pm Monday Eastern Caribbean Time/10:20 pm Jamaica Time).

Pakistan's tour of West Indies split

GROS ISLET, SAINT LUCIA - Pakistan will play two Tests in West Indies in July, while the limited-overs leg of the tour has been deferred to a later date in the Future Tours Programmes cycle for which the dates have not been decided yet.

Faulkner replaces injured Henriques

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA - James Faulkner has replaced fellow allrounder Moises Henriques in the Australia squad for the first two ODIs against West Indies.

Henriques was ruled out for those games after undergoing surgery on his right index finger on Saturday.
