Dubai – The ICC Chief Executives’ Committee meeting in Dubai this week has made excellent progress towards finalising the Future Tours Programme plus the Test and One-Day International league schedules. It also began the process of drawing up rules, regulations and a points system for the leagues.

Kandy, Sri Lanka – West Indies batsman Darren Bravo says he is enjoying his time in international cricket and is trying to use every innings as a learning experience. The 21-year-old left-hander closed the first day of the 3rd ERI Test against Sri Lanka on 63 not out as the Windies reached 134-2 on another rain-hit day. He added 115 for the second wicket with Devon Smith, who made a well-compiled 55 on his return to Test cricket at the new Pallekele Stadium.

Kandy, Sri Lanka – The West Indies were kept indoors on Tuesday as the team’s preparations for the 3rd ERI Test match against Sri Lanka were hampered by heavy, afternoon rain. This however did not dampen the spirits and Head Coach Ottis Gibson indicated his team will be ready for Wednesday's start of the match at the new Pallekele Stadium in this central city. First ball in the decisive Test is 10 am (12.30 am Eastern Caribbean Time/11.30 Tuesday Jamaica Time).

Baugh has confidence, looks ahead to 3rd Test

Kandy, Sri Lanka – West Indies wicket-keeper Carlton Baugh says he feels relaxed and has a clear mind as the Windies prepare for the all-important 3rd ERI Test match against Sri Lanka on Wednesday at the new Pallekele Stadium in the central city of Kandy.

 The 28-year-old Baugh made an impressive 50 in the first innings of the 2nd Test to help the Windies reach the follow-on target. Now, he is eagerly looking ahead to the next five days.
