West Indies name Training Squad

ST JOHN’S, Antigua – The West Indies Cricket Board’s Selection Panel today announced the 15-man training squad for the upcoming ODI Series against England.

The Panel also announced the West Indies Cricket Board’s President’s XI 12-man squad to face England in a 50-over match.

West Indies players to attend camps

ST JOHN’S, Antigua – West Indies male and female players will be involved in several camps in Antigua in the coming weeks as they prepare for various international assignments.

Sabina Park 50th Test Poster Competition

Sabina Park, one the Caribbean’s premier venue for cricket will host its 50th Test Match with the hosting of the West Indies vs Pakistan, Friday, April 22 to Tuesday, April 25.

As part of that recognition the WICB has joined with the Kingston Cricket Club and the Jamaica Cricket Association to have a poster competition to celebrate the milestone.

Samuels cleared to bowl in internationals

The International Cricket Council (ICC) today announced that following remedial work and reassessment, the bowling action of West Indies Marlon Samuels has been found to be legal, and the player can now resume bowling in international cricket.

Samuels, Narine top ODI rankings

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, CMC – Veteran batsman Marlon Samuels and off-spinner Sunil Narine are the highest ranked West Indies players in the latest ICC One-Day International rankings released at the weekend.

The 36-year-old Samuels lies 28th in the batting rankings while Narine sits third in the bowling rankings.
