Windies bat first, Sammy out with illness
 

Dhaka, Bangladesh – Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bat first against West Indies in the first One-Day International at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium on Thursday.

The West Indies are being led by wicket-keeper/batsman Denesh Ramdin. Captain Darren Sammy is suffering from upset stomach and is unavailable for selection.
