Ali quits as Guyana Cricket Board president

GEORGETOWN, GUYANA - Just seven months after he replaced the long-serving Chetram Singh as head of the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB), having served as the Marketing Officer of that entity, Chief Executive Officer of Sterling Products Limited, Ramsay Ali, tendered his resignation as head of the GCB on Monday. 

T&T coaches to meet today

Cricket coaches throughout Trinidad and Tobago will meet today from 6 p.m. at the National Cricket Centre in Balmain, Couva as they try to unite into a singular body in an effort to improve the standards across the board in the local game.

Two more Antiguan umpires qualify

ST JOHN’S, Antigua – Two more local cricket officials from Antigua & Barbuda Cricket Umpires Association are now fully qualified after they successfully passed the West Indies Cricket Umpires Association (WICUA) oral and practical examinations.
