The HPC XI were bowled out for 311 in 49.2 overs after winning the toss.

Lendl Simmons, one of six members of the West Indies One-Day International team at a one-week camp here preparing for the five-match limited overs series against New Zealand in New Zealand next month, topscored with 71 which came off 61 balls and included ten fours and one six.

Reifer, an HPC student, made 68 off 74 balls with eight fours, while former HPC member Kyle Hope hit 56 off 57 deliveries with five boundaries and his younger brother Shai Hope, a current HPC player, blasted 37 off only 17 balls including three fours and two sixes.
