BELMONT, TRINIDAD - Chirpy, the Scotiabank Kiddy Cricket Mascot, recently visited students from the Belmont Government School, the winners of the recent Kiddy Cricket Festival.

Chirpy, who was introduced to the regional public during the recent Digicel Home Series against Australia, was accompanied by national Under-19 cricketer Jessie Bouton.

ROSEAU, Dominica – Many people are of the view that education and sport cannot mix, but Scotiabank Kiddy Cricketer Ethan Doctrove found out there is a living breathing example right in the Nature Island that proves that theory wrong.

Doctrove, a student of the St. Mary’s Primary School, learnt that he should always play the game hard, but to be a winner in life he also needs to have a sound education.

ROSEAU, Dominica – Scotiabank Kiddy Cricket almost single-handedly transformed the game at the primary school level in the Nature Island.

This is the opinion of Mervyn Thomas, the former Windward Islands batsman and head Scotiabank Kiddy Cricket coach in Dominica, after watching the interval display by 80 young players from around the island on the third day of the final Digicel Test between West Indies and Australia at Windsor Park.

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad – Effervescent Scotiabank Kiddy Cricketer Antonia Charles got to learn a valuable lesson about life, when she met one of her cricketing heroes recently.

Charles, a 10-year-old student of the San Fernando Girls Anglican School, learnt that there will be setbacks in life, but they only serve to make you stronger.
