HPC, Zimbabwe play to tour-match draw

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados – Classy right-hander Vusi Sibanda grabbed the chance for precious match practice ahead of next week’s first Test with a fine half-century against the WICB’s High Performance Centre here Saturday.

Opening the batting, Sibanda top scored with 80 as the three-day tour match finished in a tame draw at the Desmond Haynes Oval.

Samuels and Roach to play for HPC

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados – West Indies players Marlon Samuels and Kemar Roach have been named in the Sagicor West Indies High Performance Centre squad to play against Zimbabwe this week.

The three-day contest will be played from Thursday to Saturday at the Desmond Haynes Oval at the Carlton Cricket Club complex and will be a minimum of 90 overs per day.
