Regional Super50, Round 5, Squads

PORT OF SPAIN, TRINIDAD - Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago are two of the six teams competing in Round 5 of the Regional Super50 tournament to be particularly strengthened by the return of key players.

As the T&T Reed Force get set to host the Combined Campuses & Colleges at the Queen's Park Oval on Thursday morning, fast bowler Ravi Rampaul and middle order batsman Jason Mohammed have recovered from their respective injuries to be part of T&T's 13-man squad.

The latter was left out from T&T's 50 over and 4-day matches against the Leeward Islands and Guyana due to a strained hamstring, while Rampaul missed T&T's previous home matches against Guyana due to a slight knee injury.

T&T though got maximum points from both matches away to the Leewards and at home to Guyana.

Meanwhile, Jamaica have welcomed back opener Brenton Parchment and seamer Krishmar Santokie into their squad for their home matches against bottom-of-the-table Leeward Islands.

Parchment was in Australia plying his trade in league cricket while Santokie only recently returned from the Bangladesh Premier League Twenty20.

In the Super50, Jamaica has 14 points from three wins plus 2 bonus points and also have the best Net Run Rate of 1.160.

In second position is Trinidad and Tobago (12 points) followed by the Combined Campuses and Colleges (10 points).
