Ambrose to work with CCC bowlers

Bridgetown, Barbados -- Legendary Leeward Islands and West Indies fast bowler Curtly Ambrose is to be part of the coaching staff of the Combined Campuses & Colleges (CCC) team.

He has been hired as Bowling Consultant for the ongoing WICB Regional 4 Day Tournament. Details on the role of the 48-year-old Antiguan are to be disclosed at a Media conference at the 3Ws Oval, the home base of CCC, on Wednesday, February 8.

ROSEAU, Dominica, CMC – Spin duo Devendra Bishoo and Veerasammy Permaul bowled Guyana to a 234-run victory over Leeward Islands in the WICB Regional Four-Day Tournament on Sunday.

Bishoo grabbed four wickets for 31 runs from 9.4 overs and Permaul snatched four for 36 from 12 overs, as Leewards were dismissed for 102 in their second innings in the first hour after tea on the second day of their first round match at Windsor Park.
