Rain keeps Queen’s Park from full points

PORT OF SPAIN, TRINIDAD - HLK Aranjuez’s Dion Ferrier fired a knock of 80, but that could not prevent Alescon Comets from grabbing first innings points when action in the eight round of the Premier Division concluded yesterday.

Aranjuez only reached 258 all out, short of Comets’ 1st innings effort of 293.

Ferrier was suported by teammate Idrees Mohammed’s contribution of 40.

At Queen’s Park Oval, rain frustrated leaders QPCC in their push towards an outright result.

Caldrac weree scuttled for 129 in response to QPCC’s 351/7 declared. When QPCC put them back in to bat, Caldrac were batting 72 for 3 when rain washed out play.

The Parkites had to settle for first inning points alone.
