Kingston, Jamaica - Sidelined Jamaica opener St Ann's Xavier Marshall is hoping to continue his good form when his team takes on St Mary in a rescheduled Jamaica Cricket Association JAMT20 top-of-the-table East Zone clash at Three Hills Oval, St Mary, tomorrow.

Marshall, who lost his place in the Jamaica regional four-day and Super50 teams earlier this year because of poor form, has so far scored 110 not out and 68 in two matches.

"I am in a bit of form, hitting the ball well, and the aim is to continue so that I can help my team qualify for the quarter-finals," said Marshall.

"We have a good team with some good T20 players, and so far they have been playing good cricket. We just hope we can keep it up and everything should be all right."

Performance

The matchup, one of two rescheduled fixtures on the day, will see both teams entering with 100 per cent win records, having recorded wins in their previous two games.

In addition to Marshall, St Ann will look to Tevin Gilzene, Duran White, Ricardo Dacres, Robert Bailey and Gifton Wray.

Gilzene put in a man-of-the-match performance with a top score of 69 and figures of six for 47 in their 49-run win over G.C. Foster last weekend.

Also getting among the runs was Bailey, who made 31, while Wray took an innings, leading two for 23.

Meanwhile, St Mary will look to openers Robert Weir and Domain Wilson, as well as discarded national Under-19 wicketkeeper Aldane Thomas and returning captain André Creary.

Weir made 78 not out and Wilson 20 in their last outing, a nine-wicket win over Portland.

"The guys are very positive and raring to play St Ann," said St Mary manager, Donovan Campbell.

"Both teams have won two games and have good net run rates so we are expecting it to be a close encounter.

The second rescheduled matchup on the day will see Westmoreland taking on St James at Paradise Oval, Westmoreland.
