Maple Cricket Tournament, April 12
 

PORT OF SPAIN, TRINIDAD - The Maple Sports and Cultural Organisation in collaboration with the Member of Parliament for Tabaquite, Surujrattan Rambachan, bowls off their inaugural Super 12-Over Windball Tournament at the Brother’s Road Recreation Grounds, Williamsville, on April 12.

With a whopping $8,000 pot and challenge trophy up-for-grabs, a host of community cricket teams will all vie for the top prize. 

Runners-up will receive $5,000 while the third placed finishers will take home $3,000. There will also be several individual prizes for the “Player of the Tournament” among other awards. 

Matches will be played on Fridays and Saturdays from 7 pm. A list of seeded professional windball players will also be released and each team must possess only one. Registration for this first-time competition is $1,000 per team of 15 players. The deadline for registration is on the opening day (April 12).
