KINGSTON, JAMAICA - Manchester will attempt to move one step closer to a semi-final berth in the Jamaica Cricket Association (JCA) Limited Overs competition when they host St Catherine Cricket Association at Manchester High today.

Manchester, after four rounds of matches, lead South Central Zone with nine points, three more than St Catherine CA, who have played one game less.

The zone is completed by St Elizabeth with four points from four matches and Clarendon, one point from three.

St Elizabeth and Clarendon will square off at Port Esquivel in the zones other match-up.

I am really looking forward to the game, as a victory would virtually assure us of a spot in the semi-finals, which is what we want, said Manchester coach Barry Barnes.

Left-arm seamer Krishmar Santokie and national off-spinner Jamie Merchant, who has a century to his credit, are again expected to lead Manchesters charge.

They are also expected to get good support from opener Zeniffe Fowler, Donovan Sinclair and captain Gary Graham.

St Catherine CA, meanwhile, are set to be led by young national batsman Nkrumah Bonner.

In other matches, G.C. Foster College will play St Ann at G.C. Foster and St Mary travel to Portland in the East Zone while St James will entertain Westmoreland at Green Pond High and Hanover will play away to Trelawny at the Trelawny Multi-Purpose Stadium in a West Zone encounter.

Over in the Corporate Area Zone A, Kensington will be at home to Kingston and St Andrew at Kensington Park, Lucas host Boys Town at Nelson Oval, while Melbourne and JDF will face off at Up Park Camp.

In the Corporate Area Zone B, St Thomas will host St Catherine CC at Goodyear Oval, and Kingston welcome Police at Sabina Park.
