St John's, Antigua – Veteran allrounder Wilden Cornwall has been named to captain the Leeward Islands in the upcoming West Indies Cricket Board 50-Over Tournament, which runs from October 14 to 24. The 37-year-old, who has been a stalwart in the Leewards team for the past decade, led the team in the WICB Caribbean T20 in July and has been asked to continue. The Vice Capatin is Javier Liburd, the 23-year-old allrounder who has been in the team for three seasons.
