WICB & JCA hold historic meeting

Kingston, Jamaica – The Boards of Directors of the West Indies Cricket Board and the Jamaica Cricket Association met in Kingston Jamaica last Sunday to discuss a number of issues of mutual interest. The meeting was the first of its kind between the WICB and JCA and was requested by the newly elected executive of the JCA. The agenda included Cricket Development, Player Management and Industrial Relations, Funding for Regional Tournaments and International Matches, Governance Structure and Operations, Communications and the Chris Gayle issue.

Kingston, Jamaica, CMC – West Indies produced a valiant effort on Wednesday but were left facing a Herculean task to win the opening Test after Rahul Dravid’s 32nd Test century put India slightly ahead at Sabina Park.

Scotiabank Kiddy cricketers to burst into action at Sabina

Kingston, Jamaica – As West Indies and India are locked in a tense battle in the First Digicel Test, Sabina Park will see a burst of effervescent action as over 160 Scotiabank Kiddy Cricketers from 14 primary schools across Jamaica take centre stage for the International Interval Displays. They will take to the field and share the international stage with their favourite West Indies and Indian players on Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd June, displaying their Batting, Fielding, Catching and Bowling skills which they have developed in the programme.
