Superb WIndies girls make it three wins out of three

Potchefstroom, South Africa -- The West Indies Women have now made it three wins a row as they brushed aside Sri Lanka by nine wickets, with more than 21 overs to spare, in their ICC Challenge match on Saturday. This superb victory follows their other wins by 148 runs over the Netherlands and by 165 runs over Ireland.

Windies girls thrilled to hear news of Central Retainer Contracts

Potchefstroom, South Africa – West Indies players Merissa Aguilleira and Stafanie Taylor are delighted to hear the news that the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) will offer Central Retainer Contracts to six members of the successful West Indies Women's team. Speaking from Potchefstroom, South Africa where they are playing in the ICC Challenge Tournament, the two leading players said the news was well received throughout the entire camp.

Taylor on top of the world as she reaches 1000 landmark

Potchefstroom, South Africa – West Indies batting star Stafanie Taylor is happy to reach 1000 runs in One-Day Internationals. The 19-year-old Jamaica reached the milestone during Thursday's match against Ireland, the second match of the ICC Challenge Tournament. It was her 28th match and in the process she became the youngest woman ever and the first woman from the Caribbean to reach 1000 runs in international cricket.

Daley equals ODI best as Windies win by 165 runs

Potchefstroom, South Africa -- Left-arm spinner Shanel Daley equaled her career-best figures of 4-29 against Ireland on Thursday as the West Indies women beat Ireland women by 165 runs in their ICC Women's Challenge One-Day Imatch at North-West University Ground 2 on Thursday. Daley had identical figures against Pakistan in Sydney two years ago at the ICC World Cup.
