Unchanged squad for 5th Digicel ODI

Georgetown, Guyana– The WICB Selection Committee has named an unchanged West Indies 13 man squad for the 5th and final Digicel One Day International against Pakistan at the Guyana National Stadium on Thursday.

Sarwan replaces Smith for 4th Digicel ODI

Bridgetown, Barbados– The WICB Selection Committee has announced one change to the West Indies 13 man squad for the 4th Digicel One Day International against Pakistan.

Ramnaresh Sarwan has replaced Devon Smith in the squad which is down 0-3 in the five match Digicel Series.

The 30 year old Sarwan has featured in 166 One Day Internationals and has four centuries and 35 fifties.

WICB responds to Shiv

St John’s, Antigua– The WICB confirms that it has received an unsigned letter from WIPA sent on behalf of Shivnarine Chanderpaul.

WICB expresses itsconcern and disappointment that even before the letter was received by the WICB, the media were seeking comments.

WICB CEO Dr. Ernest Hilaire has responded to Chanderpaul and WIPA indicating that at no time was he, in the interview on Line & Length, referring to any player (save for when asked a direct question pertaining to Chris Gayle).

'Reds' wants Bishoo to live his dreams

Gros Islet, St Lucia– World renowned cricket commentator Joseph ‘Reds’ Perreira presented impressive rookie West Indies leg spinner Devendra Bishoo with a copy of his book – Living my Dreams.

Perreira made the presentation to Bishoo at the end of the Second Digicel One Day International at the Beausejour Cricket Grounds.

Gros Islet, St Lucia- "I want to be a great cricketer for the West Indies. I don't want to be just a regular cricketer in the West Indies team. I dream of great things and being great."

That's the focus of West Indies leg-spinner Devendra Bishoo as he celebrated his Man-of-the-Match performance in the Digicel T20 International against Pakistan on Thursday.

The 25-year-old had a memorable T20 International debut, taking four crucial wickets as the Windies won by seven runs before a colourful crowd at the Beausejour Cricket Grounds.
