Guyana to face Trinidad and Tobago this weekend in warm-ups

Georgetown, Guyana: Guyana's cricketers will be getting some high-quality opposition as they prepare for their trip to South Africa for the Airtel Champions League later this month. The Guyanese will have two friendly matches against Trinidad and Tobago – one on Saturday and the other on Sunday – at the Guyana National Stadium, at Providence. Both matches will be played under lights at 8 pm (7 pm Jamaica Time).

Cush slams superb century as USA win ICC Division 4

The United States of America (USA) beat Italy by eight wickets in the final of the Pepsi International Cricket Council's World Cricket League Division 4 at the Pianoro ground in Bologna on Saturday. Having been set a target by Italy of 186, USA claimed victory after a dazzling century by Guyana allrounder Lennox Cush set the side up for an easy win.

Guyana's captain Campbelle cops MVP at WICB Women's League

Kingstown, St Vincent: Shemaine Campbelle, the Guyana captain and allrounder, was named the Most Valuable Player after the conclusion of the West Indies Cricket Board's Women's 50-Over League on Thursday evening in St Vincent. The 17-year-old, right-handed batter, leg-break and googly bowler, who also keeps wicket; was presented with the coveted award at the closing ceremony at the residence of the Prime Minister of St Vincent and the Grenadines.

Nero bats through the innings to lead Vincentians to 156-6

Kingstown, St Vincent: Juliana Nero made a brilliant 85 not out as St Vincent and the Grenadines posted a challenging 156-6 off their 50 overs against Trinidad and Tobago in the final of the West Indies Cricket Board’s Women’s 50-Over League at Arnos Vale Playing Field 1, on Wednesday.
