BCB, BCC launch Independence Cup

GEORGETOWN, GUYANA - The Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) and the Berbice Chamber of Commerce launched the Guyana Independence T20 Cup last Sunday at the Albion Sports Complex.

According to a release from the BCB, the tournament is scheduled for May 26 at the Albion Sports Complex.

BCB/Diamond Fire & General Insurance launch U-19 Inter-Zone tournament

GEORGETOWN, GUYANA - The Berbice Cricket Board with support from the Diamond Fire and General Insurance on Monday launched the sixth Inter-Zone Under-18 cricket tournament.

The tournament was sponsored at the cost of $335,000; the sponsor will also provide coloured T-shirts for the four teams.
