Devon Smith; Man of the Moment

St John’s, Antigua – Windward Islands opener Devon Smith has been dominant in the first half of the Regional 4 Day and Super50 tournaments this year.

The 31 year-old Grenadian has captured two 4 Day Man-of-the-Match awards along with one in the Super50 Tournament.

Smith copped his Super50 trophy against Guyana when he led Windwards to a 7 wicket win with an undefeated century.

The left handed strokemaker also collected 4 Day MoM awards against Combined Campuses and Colleges and Trinidad and Tobago. Smith cracked double tons (139 and 106*) against CCC and followed up with 99 against the Trinis.

At the half-way stage of the season Smith has totalled 456 runs in the 4 Day at an average of 76 while he has added another 203 runs in the Super50 at an average of 67.67.
