Bridgetown, Barbados - Deighton Griffith Old Scholars and The Lodge Old Scholars clinched the last two quarter-finals places in the sixth annual Christ Church Foundation School Joel Garner Twenty20 championship at Dover on Friday night.

Deighton Griffith, the 2012 champions, defeated newcomers The St. Michael Alumni by 53 runs in a virtual 'knockout' in the Lee Harford Skeete/Lewiston Wellington Zone 'A' to clinch the runners-up place behind runaway winners Combermere Old Scholars, while Lodge beat first-timers Grantley Adams Old Scholars by seven wickets in an excellent run chase to edge out St. Leonard's Old Scholars by way of a superior Net Run Rate (NRR), thus finishing second to Foundation 'B' Old Scholars in the Barry Gaskin/Bran Williams Zone 'D'.
