T&T guarding against complacency

PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad - Front runners Trinidad and Tobago are trying to guard against complacency as they prepare to continue their campaign for a hat trick of titles in the Caribbean T20 tournament.

Race for top three spots on in CT20

Gros Islet, St Lucia – At the end of the action-packed first phase of the Caribbean T20 at Queens Park Oval, defending champions Trinidad and Tobago lead the points table.

The Trinis played unbeaten at home to record three wins and a no-result due to a wash-out, and stand top of the charts with 13 points.

Bravo: No ease up from T&T in St Lucia

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad – In-form left-hander Darren Bravo says Trinidad and Tobago will not be relaxing for the second phase of the Caribbean Twenty20 starting in St Lucia Tuesday, despite topping the standings at the end of the first leg here Saturday night.

Davis: Austin, Ambi, key to success

 

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad – Hat-trick hero Derone Davis has hailed the contribution of West Indies great Curtly Ambrose and teammate Ryan Austin to his recent success.

The left-arm spinner snatched three wickets in as many balls last Friday to help Combined Campuses and Colleges stun Barbados at Queen’s Park Oval.
