Ross Taylor joins CPL

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados - New Zealand batsman Ross Taylor has become the latest international cricketer to link-up with the inaugural Caribbean Premier League (CPL) set to begin in July.

PORT OF SPAIN, TRINIDAD - West Indies cricket players, a Boeing 767 jet, Trinidad Carnival dancers, several musical artistes and a monkey named Chico will all feature in the Caribbean Premier League’s TV advertising campaign which will be unveiled shortly and aired around the world in the lead up to the tournament, carded to take place July- August.

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados – Jamaican businessman Dave Cameron was on Wednesday elected president of the West Indies Cricket Board, beating incumbent Dr Julian Hunte in a close vote at the Annual General Meeting here.
