Port of Spain, Trinidad – The Board of Directors of the West Indies Cricket Board met at the Hyatt Regency in Port of Spain, Trinidad today and following is a summary of the major decisions taken:

Smith stars again as Mumbai win again

MUMBAI, India – Dwayne Smith smashed a half-century and then snatched two wickets in a Man-of-the-Match outing, to help lift Mumbai Indians to an impressive 58-run victory over Chris Gayle’s Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League here Saturday.

Roach replaces Best for semi-final

Bridgetown, Barbados - Kemar Roach replaces his injured West Indies team-mate and fellow fast bowler as the only change to the Barbados 13-man squad for the WICB first-class semi-final match against Windward Islands at Windsor Park in Dominica, May 2 to 5.

Smith, Shillingford top batting, bowling

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados – Devon Smith and Shane Shillingford, two key members of newly-minted champions Windward Islands, topped the batting and bowling averages respectively, at the end of the Regional Super50 Tournament which ended on Sunday here.
