New CEO of BCA wants teamwork

BRIDGETOWN, BARBADOS - New chief executive officer (CEO) of the Barbados Cricket Association (BCA), Michael Browne, is stressing “team” as he takes over the helm of the 79-year organization.

Bajans unchanged to face T&T

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, CMC – Barbados have a named an unchanged squad to face archrivals Trinidad and Tobago in their third round match of the Regional 4 Day Championship starting on Thursday.

Selectors have opted against making any changes after Barbados’ 120-run defeat to Jamaica inside three days last weekend at Sabina Park. The match was Barbados’ first in the competition after drawing a bye in the first round.

Jamaica take big lead over Bajans

KINGSTON, Jamaica, CMC – Left-arm spinner Nikita Miller’s five-wicket haul undermined Barbados on Saturday and put Jamaica in pole position to win their second round Regional 4Day match at Sabina Park.

The wiry 29-year-old snatched five for 25 as Barbados tumbled from 81 for three before lunch to 157 all out, losing their last seven wickets for 76 and conceding a first innings lead of 130 runs.
