Amazing Jamaica win 4Day title

Port-of-Spain, Trinidad — Jamaica defeated Barbados by a massive 139 runs to win the 2012 Regional 4 Day title. Playing on the final day of the Grand Final at Sabina Park, the home side set the Bajans 230 to win and the visitors folded for 90 midway the second session.

The amazing come-from-behind victory meant Jamaica won the regional first-class title for a record fifth consecutive time. Jamaica’s bowling heroes were seamer Dave Bernard, who took four early wickets to rock the top order and left-arm spinner who took 3-9 to end with 7-72 in the match.
