Allen's ton leads Clarks Town to big win in SDC cricket

KINGSTON, JAMAICA - Kemar Allen struck an unbeaten 100 to lead Clarks Town of Trelawny to a seven-wicket win over St Mary's Jacks River in the national phase of the Social Development Commission (SDC) Twenty20 (T20) competition on Sunday.
Batting first at the Clarks Town Community Centre, the Jacks River team was bowled out for 147 with Hanchard Hamilton top-scoring with 70. Allen was the best bowler for Clarks Town with 3-31.
In reply, Allen cracked a ton to complete a fine all-round display as the host team reached 148-3 with eight balls to spare.
Scores: Jacks River 147 (15.4 overs); Clarks Town 148-3 (18.4 overs).
At the same venue, Portland's Buff Bay edged to a nine-run win against Old Folly of St Ann.
Scores: Buff Bay 189-8 (20 overs); Old Folly 180-5 (20 overs).
At the Dela Vega City Community Centre, Richmond Park of Kingston & St Andrew beat St John's East of St Catherine by 26 runs.
Scores: Richmond Park 178-8 (20 overs); St John's East 152 (17.3 overs).
Also at the Dela Vega City venue, Bridgeport hammered Strikeforce of St Thomas by 72 runs.

Petersville beat wildcard team Orange by five wickets at the Orange Community Centre.
Scores: Orange 102-9 (20 overs); Petersville 106-5 (12.1 overs).
Also at the Orange venue, Lucea fell to a four-wicket loss against Farm Heights of St James.
Scores: Lucea 107-8 (20 overs); Farm Heights 108-6 (8.4 overs).
At the Manley Horne Park in St Elizabeth, Racecourse of Clarendon registered a four-wicket win against wildcard team Treasure Beach.

Also at the Manley Horne Complex, Junction/Bull Savannah defeated Alligator Pond by 31 runs.
