The knock-out championship, which includes all nine ABCA teams, will conclude on Sunday, January 19, with the semi-finals and finals due to take place that day commencing at 11 am, after the completion of the opening round of matches on Saturday.

The participating teams are: defending champions Liberta, All Saints, Bethesda, Bolans, Combined Schools, Empire, Jennings, New Winthorpes and Police.

The matches for the first time will be hosted by the Bethesda and Christian Hill Sports Club. The chief organiser is Kenny Lewis.

Lewis is expecting a festive atmosphere at the grounds: “We will be having Ecstasy Sound System and we are hoping to have the WICB on Sunday promoting the cricket series between the West Indies and England.”

Prizes for the top two teams are provided by Karib Cable ($1,000) and Benjies Workshop ($500), while Digicel will donate a handset to the MVP.
